Grass by Cathy MacPhail - a review by Ashley M.

I really enjoyed reading Grass by Cathy MacPhail. It is all about a boy called Leo who lives on a council estate and witnesses a murder committed by one of the gang leaders called Armour. Armour tells him to keep his mouth shut, scared stiff he does and disastrous consequences follow… Leo becomes Armour's “boy”, becomes aggressive and because of this he loses his best friend and a girl whom he fancied. A gripping and highly recommended read!
