Hogwarts fever gripped the school last week as S6 pupils dressed as their favourite literary characters to deliver free books and tokens to S1 and S2 pupils. Thanks in particular to Susan Mc, Sarah B, Emma A, Ruth M, Eilish Mc, Gina L and Ross W.

S6 pupils from Kyle enjoyed a fantastic experience when they visited Glasgow University Library to research authors for their Advanced Higher dissertations. Thanks to Mrs Johnston and Mr McMillan who made the trip possible.

Our Vote!!

Pupils from Kyle Academy Book Shadowing Group have chosen a favourite book from the Scottish Children's Book Awards shortlist. After careful discussion of the nominated titles the group voted for Prisoner of the Inquisition by Theresa Breslin. The winning book will be announced on the 23rd of February!
